Smokey is the only colt from 2008/2009 foals.  No one expected this coloring from the combination of Bandon, and Brandy.  He is gentle to people, but quite inquisitive and quite fearless.  He is fun to watch grow and has turned into a wonderful stallion.  He has very heavy bone, and abundant feather.  It’s hard not to get excited as we see him mature.  We believe he will be magnificent when fully grown.  Actually, he is magnificent already.  We have used him for breeding a couple of years now.  We thought when we started we would have some black horses for sale.  Except for Savi last year, the mares he breeds seem to control the color, but aside from that, he passes on many other wonderful traits.
